Awesome. My wife and I don't have cable. We've only caught part of the end-of-the-season marathon or other bits here and there. We love what we've seen so I'm glad to be able to buy it.
I know you don't have power over when Leverage is shown, but my wife and I forgot to DVR Leverage last night and TNT it doesn't appear to be showing that episode, well ever again.
I hate paying to see a show I can normally catch for free. It's not on hulu, and apparently someone is running some click scam site called http://watchleverage.org/.
I'll just pay for it off xbox live or amazon when I get the chance, but I just hate that TNT can show a movie 3 times in one weekend or back to back in some cases, but can't give me a second showing of a tv show?
Since I don't have a TV and have to wait for iTunes etc to catch up, I spent last night watching the first disc of the set with the commentary tracks and I've loved what I've heard so far. Frakes on The Wedding Job especially was a hoot. And I kind of like that the actors aren't in on it. It would have been nice and I hope that can be arranged for Season 2, but I like hearing so much about the inner workings of the show about writing, directing and producing it.
Now I just have to wait until I get home from work to watch more. And Season 2. I can wait. Honest.
You know if you made the cast do a little of the commentary, they could help drink the beer. Or bring the beer. It would make it seems less like a marathon session. Who would you rather sit through the 6th episode with, Dean, or Beth and Gina.
If you do let the cast in on S2, make sure the girls can record separate from the guys, so both can talk freely.
I missed most of the season opener too. Late soccer, and tape full of Letterman + Ferguson.
For a second I thought Gina was going to say girlfriend! Nate seemed to be more attached to Sophie than he was letting on last season. I guess the ex didn't relocate too?
Saw Saul in Warehouse 13. He's making that show. I guess he'll be too busy to revisit Leverage.
Speaking of S1, I'm watching the DVDs to get set for the new episode (which I have waiting). I'm on Snowjob - when they're setting up Glen Gary Glen Death, what are the other scams they mention (Apple Pie - it's Cherry Pie w/lifeguards)? or are they just made up?
Waited for the DVDs (I consider it worth paying for to be able to watch shows whenever I want, ad-free, and in an easily portable form)...I didn't even watch a single episode, I just picked up the set on faith.
Well worth the wait. You totally justified my faith in you, John Rogers. Awesome, awesome series.
I just finished rewatching Season 1with the commentary, and it was hilarious and very enlightening. So much so that I actually watched a couple of eps with the commentary on twice. :-)

Don't give in to the suits, man! Though, it is cool. But still!
Let the suits know I won't buy it until it's on Blu Ray. The frequently teeny tiny packaging in comparison alone makes it worth it for me.

See if you can guess which episode was the four-Guiness commentary ...
All of them.
I'm only 3 minutes into The Two Horse Job commentary, and I'm going to pick this one for your 4 Guinness go.
Don't you hate those whiny fanboys who insist that any particular bit of good news is ABSOLUTELY NO USE because it doesn't apply to them?
Yeah, me too. But what about a region 2 release? Amazon UK is silent on the issue.

My copy is winging its way toward me as I speak. I couldn't care less about Blu-Ray.
There's only so hi I need my def to be.
(Please write episodes in which Gina wears the dress she's wearing on the DVD box. Thanks.)

Say, what's up with Leverage?
Last season they reran LEVERAGE on Saturday mornings.
Just to make sure--do iTunes subscriptions count toward your numbers for the season?
I'm a minute into TWO HORSE JOB, and I concur with Rick.
Loving the commentary, though -- the "how to construct a show" bits are wonderful.

The airing order and dvd order are different. Which is structurally/narratively correct?
