Yep. The superstition of "threes" just became eerily confirmed.
uh. I'm not really old enough to appriciate FF but Ed and MJ were pretty much the bedrock of my formative years culturally speaking.
It helped that Star Search was ineveitably on just after or just before ST:TNG or other syndicated awesomesauce.

Instead of a fast, shitty triple - I would call it a shat trick.
I'm certainly of the Charlie's Angels age bracket, but my friends and I are more likely to reference The Burning Bed than any else she's done. It was oddly more defining for us than anything else she was known for.
The Burning Bed was when it was still possible for TV to be an *event* --and that one certainly was.

When I was a little girl, we'd play "Charlie's Angels" and argue about who would play Jill. *sigh* Those were the days.
