Why, Hijinks DO Ensue!

Terminator or Dollhouse? Nicely done, Joel. The most accurate portrayal of the modern television industry in webcomics.

Too bad Terminator couldn't be picked up on SyyyyFyyyieeeyyyghd.

I wish FOX would just own up to the fact that they picked up "Dollhouse" because of WB's licence fee, rather than the "We just like/trust Joss better" ridiculousness. If it's a money thing, then say it's a money thing, instead of tearing down one creative team to build another showrunner up.

Then again, the premise of "Dollhouse" squicks me so hard I've never made it through more than two episodes (sadly, due to the execution of the premise, more than anything else. Tho FOX's marketing strategy that involved pushing it as sexy fun, rather than horror with a huge side of date rape, didn't help either).

Whereas I adored SCC like a mad crazy thing from day one, and I think it was one of the smartest genre series we've seen since the early days of BSG.

I kept hoping it might migrate to the CW, but I think if it were being shopped around, word would have filtered out via twitter and Facebook.

Considering that SyFy is run by people who evidently hate science fiction, I'd say moving T:SCC there is probably not the best thing that could happen to it. FX or TNT might be better cable fits.

If WB is still behind the show at all, I'd say the direct-to-DVD-movie route is the way to go. Small cult genre shows with devoted audiences tend to overperform nicely in the DVD market.

It's horrible because it's true...

Isn't Dollhouse Joe 90 for the 21st Century and without strings?

Terminator shouldn't be allowed to die off... somehow some way it needs to resolve that cliffhanger.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a move in the TNT/USA/SyFy direction for some of the less well rated, but clearly popular, already established (and somewhat cheap to produce) shows like Eli Stone, Pushing Dasies, your favorite cancelled show here.

If Terminator moved to SighPheye, there'd be a slight format change.

Every episode would have a guest star from an old beloved TV show. After the first few minutes his or her head would be graphically torn off.

I recently saw the new captain Kirk in "Live Once Die Twice", along with Cindy Sampson. She's something to see.

I'm bummed about SSC. it was smart, fun and engaging. Dollhouse got off to an INCREDIBLY wobbly start but finished very well. I'm thrilled they're coming back but I don't understand why it hand to be an either/or.

Speaking of Terminator, I saw the new terminator picture last night and thought of you when I was struggling to express my issues with the story.

Though you don't do a lot of movie reviews, I'm sort of hoping you'll see it and be moved to write about it. I'm wondering if my sense that the story is arbitrary and silly and ultimately doesn't change the state of the Terminator universe or reveal anything interesting and new in it is just the ranting of an aging man-child who can't appreciate movies edited for today's young'uns.

Why can't people who LIKE Television actually run television? Why does it have to be like everything else - we're doing this to make big gobs of profit and we can't make big gobs of profit, then screw you. What are you going to do? Huh? Read a book? Yeah, I didn't think so.

I thought Connor Chronicles was finally figuring itself out, but I also LOVED the final episode, so I think it ended well. I'd rather see a show end in a good way than drift off into crapland, so although I'd like to see the show continued I'm more okay with its end than I would have been with Dollhouse.

Uh, hi.

This is totally off topic but twitter comments aren't long enough for me to ask what I want without sounding rude.

So, first of all: Thanks for using twitter because it keeps me happy during that Leverage-free time. Can't wait to have the show back on TV.

But that's not all I wanted to say.

I have plans to start doing a podcast concerning the show and I would like to give some background information on the cons and scams the team runs. Now, I remember the guys sometimes call the scams by their names. Not all that often though but I think that most of the tricks they use have been used before/invented by someone?!

There are a few sites out there that list a lot of interesting stuff about all kinds of scams a.s.o. but unfortunately no one has taken care of creating a list of cons sorted by Leverage episodes - which is a shame if you ask me.

I was wondering if you can help me retrieve that kind of information or maybe point me into the direction of someone who can? I bet a lot of fans would love to learn more about the show, too.

Thanks in advance.

You guys are all amazing (both cast and crew) and you're doing a great job.

Sorry. Wrong about the Kirk sighting.

If a guest actor plays a part in Leverage, how long does it take? Say, Chris Pine comes on to play sombody. A villian, maybe? Just wondering if it would fit into his schedule. You could lure him with the girls. ;)

Next time you see any of the Trek staff you could mention, "Yeah, I had Kirk on my show. Fun to work with. etc. Love to write an ep. or two".

Witness the abandoned homes in local locations around the nation and you will see these signs even in a portion of the more princely neighborhoods.
