How We Were Renewed ...

Don't need to tell you the story, Dean filmed it.

Now that was cool! Congrats!

Can't wait!!!

Seriously, this is the ONLY TV I watch. I set an alarm to watch it. I often watch it twice. And when I buy the DVD set, it will be the only one I own.

This show is something special.

Congratulations!

Geektastic!

That was so very awesome. It's immensely gratifying to see such a talented group of people rewarded for their hard work. Here's to ten more seasons!

Do I need a special plug-in to see this? All I'm getting is a white circle spinning in a black square. Forever.

Nevermind... got it.

Cool... good to see them all so happy.

Great news!!! Congrats.

Hardison having the exec call his mom is priceless.

Hehe, that was very good.
Only thing to complain about really is the technical quality, looks like it was recorded on a mobile phone from the eighties - but that's flash for you *g*

I am so happy - not only because I love the show but also I have a great outline for a spec. It is so nice to see a network embrace creativity at its best. I don't think that I could have weathered another let down from TV execs. Yes, I am talkin' about Pushing Daisies. Glad to see that my faith can be restored :) Congrats and can't wait for the second season!

That's just extra awesomeness from the cast and crew of an extra awesome show :)

I do think my favorite part is Aldis having Dean talk to his mother. Heh.

Mary Sue said...

Oh, Dean and Aldis, that was a *mean* trick to play on Aldis' mom!

But also totally cool. Hee.

No, seriously, thank you!

I thought I was already thrilled but seeing this made it oh so visceral. Fabulous, congratulations and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

And the DVD set is a natural purchase, do I even need to say that?

This is one of those things that needs to be on the DVD. Preserved for future generations of execs to look at and go "ok, we can do cool things with our renewal notices."

Congrats again!

Wait, what - that WAS the high res? Hm..

Perhaps if we just run it through a sharpener... hm.. they really don't want people to save this do they....

... age of the geek baby *g*

That is just a full 44 ounces of awesome!
Congrats man. Glad to see you guys will still have jobs during the next depression.

I don't know why but watching the actors talk through laptops held by other people reminds me of Doctor Theopolis on Buck Rogers. Awesome!

GinaFan said...

Gosh, Gina looks good, even on a computer monitor, in a room, filmed on a camera, and played back on my computer monitor!

Daiv@cruzio.com said...

That is totally awesome.
I am a bit surprised no one said "age of the geek, baby!", when Dean asked "how geeky is this at the opening.
But that's just me.
I am really happy for all of you, that you get to keep on doing what I love (and, not trivially, what you seem to enjoy a bit as well :=) ).

OK, you guys get the Awesome Award!

Really, it's great to see people who are in charge who are ALSO living in the TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY!!

Keep having all that fun! You're an inspiration. Even if sometimes it inspires my jealousy!! Haha!

Very cool, although you all made me miss my Mac from my old job. Even though it wasn't the highest paying job, being an Applecare Customer Support Technician was, hands down, one of the best jobs I've ever had.

Anyhow, back to the important matter: Congratulations on renewal and what a very cool and excellent way to share it with your cast. :D

Second putting this on the DVDs. Almost as awesome as the show. Mazel tov!

Wait, what - that WAS the high res? Hm..

Make sure you select "HQ" from the dropdown in the lower right. ;)

Congratulations! And thanks for sharing the video. It's nice to know the team creating the show loves it as much as we do.

And hey...Leverage is available on iTunes, but why isn't it available for download on Xbox 360?

I was going to buy & download all the eps (in HD) to tide me over until the Season 1 DVDs come out. TNT overlays its own ads into the episodes and while I'm watching Leverage, Brenda Leigh Johnson will walk into the corner of the screen! Annoying! Of course, Nate walks in on The Closer and annoys me then as well.

So, can someone make a phone call? I'd like to know the show has every option for gaining new fans covered so we can get more than just a second season...

Awesomest news. My only reason to watch tv continues.

Can I get my rant of my chest now? I'm starting to hate Sophie. She's become a nagging shrew and she's starting to interfere with my enjoyment of the show.

I know that you guys are probably clever enough to have a plan that all of this nagging is part of her character flaws. But the fact that's not acknowledged yet is driving me batty.

Nagging doesn't work to change behavior, and you'd think an expert manipulator like Sophie would know that. And she really has no claim on Nate such that he deserves the sniffs of dissaproval, the henpecking or the cold shoulder.

Their interaction in the Miracle Job? Perfect. Mile High, Wedding and the most recent ep? Almost unwatchable.

Please, can't Parker or Eliot call her on this? Somebody, please!

I don't like the Nate-Sophie dynamic either. Say they get together. That ruins the group relations because Sophie is then closer to Nate than the others.

Sophie and Parker need to focus their romance elsewhere. That goes for the guys in this series too, but they don't seem to be initiating any. Cameraderie is allowed.

There wasn't any romance between members of the A-Team, nor Charlie's Angels, although that's worth a thought.:)

For your Leverage files:

FBI Investigates $9 Million ATM Scam

The scope of this is simply *stunning*. International and all within a 30-minute window! How does something like that even work? How does Mr. Big insure he'll get his cut?

Getting on-topic: A bit harsh there on the Nate-Sophie thing. I'm certain we really don't know the *entire* story. Rogers is very good at lying through his teeth in this series to all of us. Witness what we *didn't* see in Wedding Job until *flashback* -- the convo between Nate and the State fuzz pursuing the RICO charge. You lie worse than a bad toupee, Rogers! And we love it!!

that was sweet! but who framed the shot that managed to cut rogers in half or have just an arm in frame? somebody needs to invent a usb hugging device for those touching laptop to laptop moment, a kinder and gentler teledildonics. 15 episodes! congratulations.

Congrats to everyone involved. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
