Who I worry about is Charon. Talk about an identity crisis! How can you be a moon if the thing you're a moon of is no longer considered a planet? It's... it's like they killed his daddy or something.
"My name is Charon. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Given that Charon and Pluto are having identity crises (and not taking them well, taboot), I guess they don't qualify as planets.
Sending them trained large-object psychiatrists, however, is going to be a real pain in the tuchas. (Not to mention filling out the prescriptions required...)
And by the way, how is Ceres handling all of this teasing? In the clique, out of the clique, in the clique...
Maybe we'd better practice closer to home first.

I don't think that this decision makes any sense at all. Who says that a planet has to be a certain size anyway? I don't buy this "dwarf planet" classification. In my way of viewing things, if this celestial body is not a moon, then it is a planet. Earth is much smaller than Saturn. So is Earth a dwarf planet, too?

Whatever its classifcation, Charon always has been the most badass bastard stepchild object in our galaxy.
What I love about this whole episode is that it shows how resistant to change even science junkies can be (myself included). Personally I blame Xena.
