I just saw the first episode of "Spaced" the other night. Simon Pegg is great there as well. For some reason Scooby Doo jokes and references to The Dukes of Hazzard suddenly seem much more funny when they're coming from British people.

Over here, for aimless twentysomethings (and those who will soon be nostalgic about being aimless twentysomethings), Spaced is the sitcom. It forms friendships and and gives drunken nights out a great soundtrack of quotable quotes. 'Jar Jar Binks makes the Evoks look like fuckin' Shaft'. Good to see it's getting a bit of a profile overseas.

Funny stuff, although the one involving Hermoine is going to haunt me for awhile. Just so very, very, very wrong.
