I was thinking about Nate the other day. I think enough time has passed by now since his son's death that he should be able to let go of the anger and live for what he has with Sophie. She should be what makes him get up in the morning. The love he has for her, the family he now has in her, and "the kids."
I hope we see him freely expressing his feelings for her in S4, him initiating the kisses and being caring and protective of her during cons. That would make him so sexy.

The thought that occurs to me upon reading this is, “Man, you have no idea who Nate Ford is.”
Now that I’ve exorcised the snark, I’ll disagree in what I hope is a polite tone. Nate is all about bottling up his feelings. He keeps them deep down simmering as he tries to drown them in booze. Occasionally this emotional pressure cooker will boil over, but it’s usually down below the surface.
Those traits plus happy people being dramatically uninteresting leads me to believe that Nate and Sophie will not be openly affectionate when season 4 starts up. I don’t know if they will be keeping their distance have decided that the “incident” in San Lorenzo was a drunken mistake or if they’ll be doing like bunnies…while trying desperately (and futilely) to hide it from the rest of team. I am sure, however, that denial about the whole affair will be a major staple of the start of the season…because the drama and humor or trying to cover it up is just how I see this going.
I may be wrong about this, but I’m not uncertain.
