A couple hundred setups, Richard Chamberlain on the roof, a very hirsute Sailor Moon, Nate showing off his breakfast skills for Sophie, Hardison vs. Big Blue and one whole act of Eliot and Parker running their asses off -- and the amazing cast and crew of Leverage carried me across the finish line. They are amazing.
And, as a newly minted DGA member, I would like to restate the the "a Film By" credit is still unmitigated bullshit.
This "story" with everyone doing hilarious things is something to look forward to!! Sounds like S3 is like S1 all over again...EXCITING !!!

ReplyDeleteI am assuming the Archie Leech name is a nod to Cary Grant (and maybe to John Robie in To Catch a Thief) rather than the John Cleese lawyer in A Fish Called Wanda (*giggle*) and can so see Chamberlain as an elegant aging cat burglar. Getting all thrilled just thinking about the possibilities. This is one episode I wouldn't miss even if you weren't directing! Not that I have EVER missed any episode of Leverage. That would be absurd. :D
Wait, this ep airs on July 4? So it will be our annual viewing of "1776" AND Leverage on the same day???? The universe may not be big enough to contain so much happy!!

Congrats to you and your merry band of misfits, I mean, crew! Looking forward to Season 3 this summer. I've sorted Mother's Day gifts for myself this year, ordered Season 1 and pre-ordered Season 2. It was either that or four "snap-on" toliet seats...one for each child. Frivolous fun vs. Practicality. I choose fun. However, anyone with three boys and a husband in their house will understand the toliet seat dilemma. I'm just sayin'...
