Well Good for Them

Edwards washes their mouthes out with soap and keeps 'em. I'm "meh" on the response. Solid, but not a lot of fire in that belly. (Then again, there's a reason people like me don't run for office.) We're a year out -- if he's keeping his powder dry, I'll give him benefit of the doubt. And hell, maybe eight years as Clark's VP will season him.

Now call me nuts, but we may wish to drag public discourse over to the 11 soldiers who died in the last two days while the Senate jerked around on the Iraq vote. Or, for those of you who've done your counterinsurgency reading, why the sudden spate of helicopter shoot-downs is a very, very, very bad sign. Or, for the more economically minded, how this year will see record numbers of mortgage foreclosures. But hey, Billy Donahue, don't worry about working class people losing their homes. Like the poor were ever on Jesus' agenda.
